NEW! Basics and Benefits of Federal Government Contracts
The Federal Government buys over $250 billion in all types of
goods/services from qualified companies every year. Purchases are made
through open market Request for Proposals (RFP); Invitations for Bids
(IFB); Request for Quotes (RFQ); General Services Administration Contracts
(GSA Schedules); and Veterans Administration Contracts (V.A. Schedules).
This course will provide companies with an understanding of the benefits
of doing business with the federal government; how a business qualifies
for these contracts; registration in the mandatory databases; the required
accounting system and necessary financial reports; and company experience
to qualify for these contracts. The federal government spends $0.23 of
every dollar with small businesses as prime contractors, and $0.37 of
every dollar with small businesses as subcontractors. Qualified businesses
can expand their client base by adding the federal government to their
client list and get paid on time. Learn from an experienced instructor who
has prepared and negotiated more than 100 GSA and Veterans Administration
Schedule Contracts and several multi-billion dollar RFPs. CE-BUS 2027,
1 Tues., June 8, 6:00-9:00 pm, GTW-215, $50. #31111
